Seidl and Partner at STAINLESS STEEL 2007: Plastic labels without residue for stainless steel
Sunday, 05 August 2007

RFID on metal tag From 6th to 8th November Seidl + Partner GmbH will be presenting industrial identification solutions for the steel manufacturing and steel processing industries at Stainless Steel World 2007 in Maastricht, Netherlands. On their stand no. S.723 at the steel industry’s most important exhibition worldwide, Seidl + Partner will be showing high-temperature labels which are well suited to the secure labelling of rolled products: S+P GRAPHIPLAST® labels are made from a new type of plastic with a temperature resistance of up to 580 °C and therefore enable the identification of hot rolled products at an early stage.

Other new product developments which Seidl + Partner will be showing at Stainless Steel, include RFID-based applications for warehouse and material flow management and current identification methods which have been especially developed for the requirements of the metal industry.

At Stainless Steel World 2007, Seidl + Partner GmbH will be showing their comprehensive range of GRAPHIPLAST® labels which can withstand extreme temperatur¬es from -20 °C to +580 °C. In the metal processing industry, in particular, the extremely heat resistant labels made from advanced special plastics enable a clear and reliable identification across the whole processing and logistics process. Due to the special coatings on the labels these can be printed with barcodes, using conventional thermal transfer, laser or dot matrix printers. The data carriers ensure optimum process reliability with a direct link to the ERP system available – for automated data output and data capture.

In addition, Seidl + Partner will be presenting solutions that are currently used successfully across a range of applications. These include S+P label printing directly controlled from SAP or other ERP systems at leading companies such as ThyssenKrupp, Voest or Ugitech. Whether it is self-adhesive or flexible as a tag: S+P GRAPHIPLAST® labels ensure efficient stock control and cost-saving logistics for users in the metal industry.
