Seidl + Partner at LogiMAT 2008

Intralogistics and parts logistics will be the main focus for Seidl + Partner GmbH, Kissing, Germany, at LogiMAT 2008 (19-21 February, Neue Messe Stuttgart, Germany). The specialists for industrial identification will be presenting RFID-based identification solutions which can make internal logistics more efficient and more secure. Supplying production lines with materials becomes more secure with the automated capture and control of batches or items. What’s special about it is the use of transponders in metallic environments. Visitors to hall 6, stand 248 will be able to see the variety as well as the cost advantages and usage benefits of the S+P identification solutions, demonstrated on actual customer projects.

Stock control of metallic raw materials becomes transparent through the use of RFID. Movements into and out of stock are recorded reliably and in real-time. And what’s special about it is that the latest generation of transponders make sure that the identification is carried out securely and without any additional work, irrespective of whether it is for metal coils, bundles or containers. When loading with fork lift trucks in particular, the availability of data increases with comprehensive process control.

Using laser and thermal transfer printers, radio information can be added to printed data on virtually any conventional S+P Graphiplast® data carrier. And this is what’s special about the S + P solution - the transponder can be used for the complete processing chain of e.g. wire rod. This applies to chemical cleaning processes (pickling) as well as to drying ovens up to 200 °C. The labels are durable and withstand rough conditions such as protective oils or the impact of the weather due to long storage periods and outdoor storage in industrial applications.
