PREMO RFID launches the smallest Z Antenna for LF transponder PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 09 January 2008
The new PREMO RFID Z-axis antenna has the highest performance on perpendicular directions from the PCB and longer working range. The main applications of this newest development product are for RTPMS (Remote Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and KES (Keyless Entry System) applications. Besides, it is ideal for access control. The advantages of the new development are its flexibility and adaptability while positioning the PCB at horizontal or vertical angles.

On the one hand, the antennas for transponder working at 125 Khz have been designed specially for portable devices of identification by radio frequency. It has high sensitivity and small size (6x3x3 mm).

On the other hand, the high resistance to the impact, tested in tags and heavy transponder keyfobs, with good perfomance in tests of free fall from 4 meters of height, it demonstrate this family offers the best ratio between mechanical perfomance and optimal sensitivity.

The product is provided overcoated to increase the winding protection, it implemented with a plastic base for absorption of impact efforts, vibration and twist. All raw materials are RoHs compliant.

The serie SDTR has been qualified according to standard of reliability AECQ200 reason why it is ideal for RFID's applications in systems of high reliability as cars, railroads or aeronautics. The product is available with ten values from 1 raw mH to 12mH and quality factors between 20 and 40. Also a line of products for medical applications is offered in low frequencies (from 5KHz up to 30KHz).
