Ed has been in the semiconductor and high technology industry for more than 25 years, holding a variety of positions in engineering, marketing, sales and business development.
Mr. Gonsalves joins Wavetrend after a successful five-year career at NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors). Ed was integral in supporting their RFID business across North America. Ed holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in its Department of Management. He is an authority in the RFID field and has spoken at many industry trade and conference events.
As SVP Product Development, Ed will oversee the expansion of Wavetrend’s already impressive product line, and support the company’s efforts in developing comprehensive, leading-edge asset tracking and security technology solutions that deliver superior performance and maximum return on investment for Wavetrend customers.
