Intermec, Inc. today announced an agreement to expand a license of cutting-edge RFID technology to Toppan Printing Co. Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan – the world’s leading and largest printing and communications company. This agreement is an expansion of the existing Rapid Start RFID License Agreement signed by Intermec and Toppan in September of 2005. Under the new agreement, Toppan is taking an additional running royalty license that will allow Toppan and its customers to use RFID technology for supply chain management, identifying, tracking and tracing of printed circuit boards.
