Inline with our aggressive expansion plans into mainland Europe, we are delighted to announce the appointment of RFID specialist Bernard Greiner as Business Development Manager for our new French operation.
With over 5 years experience in the RFID market, Bernard completed his studies in electronics in Strasbourg in France, beginning his professional career in new technology transversal markets. After heading the European sales of Nasdaq IPO M2M software, an American company from Brussels, he moved to Aix en Provence in the South of France. Here Bernard managed the sales operations of STid, the largest French RFID tag and reader manufacturer.
Bernard says of his new role: "The RFID market is now expanding at an enormous rate and Intellident have for some time been a clear leader in the market. I personally needed some new and fresh challenges, which this role will now give both myself and the company. Intellident's position as one of Europe's leading system integrators is clear and its value proposition is second to none. I have been convinced by the impressive reference list of RFID applications and the strong will of Intellident management to deploy outside the UK, as they have done in the Netherlands already, and are now starting to do in Germany".
Phillip Sykes, Director of Supply Chain for Intellident, adds: "Our new facility in France, together with the appointment of Bernard to lead the way, will allow the company to extend our already successful RFID deployments.
