Confidex, a fast growing company with unique expertise in RFID design, manufacturing and engineering, announced three new appointments to its Board of Directors to strengthen and enhance the company position and its growth strategy.

Mr. Reijo M?ih?niemi has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Mr. M?ih?niemi is President and CEO of Efore Oyj, a publicly listed power products company. Before joining Efore, M?ih?niemi worked as Managing Director of Olivetti Finland and Fiskars Power Systems. During his career he has also had top executive positions at Tellabs, Teleste and Nokia Telecommunications, building global businesses in over 100 countries. M?ih?niemi lives in Helsinki, Finland.

Mr. Linwood Lacy has been appointed a Director. Mr. Lacy has had an impressive career in distribution that spans nearly 25 years. From 1985 to 1996 he was CEO of Ingram Micro and its predecessor company, Micro D Inc. He also served as President and then CEO of Ingram Industries from 1993 to 1996. Lacy was President and CEO of Micro Warehouse (1996 -1997) and Chairman of 4SURE.com (1998-2001), which was acquired by Office Depot in 2001. Prior to Micro D, Lacy held executive positions with Best Products and Zale Corporation's Catalogue Showroom Division. Lacy, who spearheaded Ingram Micro's skyrocketing growth from $100 million to $12 billion in revenues as chief executive of the company, was inducted into the CRN Computer Museum Industry Hall of Fame in 1997. He now spends his time as a private investor and serves on several boards including Ingram Industries, NETGEAR and Global MailExpress (for which he is Chairman) and lives in Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Christer Forsstr?m has been appointed a Director. Mr. Forsstr?m has been building international businesses, both by organic growth and acquisitions. He has a long track record in branding, brand positioning and market segmentation and he has been restructuring larger companies with a view to lower overall costs of operations and verification of the business concept. A major part of Forsstr?m's business career was spent at Electrolux Group where he served as CEO and Global EVP for more than 15 years. After Electrolux, Forsstr?m was Managing Director of the biggest private TV station in Scandinavia, TV 4 in Sweden. Forsstr?m has been a business consultant and a member of several boards since 1999. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

In addition to the three new appointments, the Confidex Board of Directors includes Robert Mullins, Partner at Logispring, Ari Siponmaa, Managing Partner at Aura Capital, Kaj Westerberg, Managing Partner at Essa Invest and Timo Lindstr?m, CEO of Confidex.
