Patient Care Technology Systems (PCTS), a subsidiary of Consulier Engineering, Inc., announced that they have expanded their Charlotte office at a new location in Ballantyne. PCTS is one of the first tenants in the newly constructed Irby building located at 11325 North Community House Road in the Ballantyne Corporate Park. The company has more than doubled the size of its previous office to support a growing employee base. PCTS develops and markets workflow automation software and services for health care facilities nationally.

PCTS pioneered the design and development of real-time location based patient and asset tracking systems for emergency and surgical services departments. These systems integrate real-time location data from indoor positioning systems and apply department-specific workflow intelligence to recognize and communicate patient care milestones without requiring manual updates from busy caregivers. Nurses and physicians are able to anticipate and manage their workflows more efficiently using the PCTS software as a centralized workflow management and communication portal.
