Queralt LLC of Wallingford, CT, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Hosted RFID Consignment solution. This unique solution leverages a customer's current environment, utilizes minimum technology infrastructure and connects to an application that lets a customer to be up and running in less than a day.

Currently our customers are utilizing the solution to improve their inventory and invoicing turns, while reducing their expousure on expired or old inventory all actions provide an immediate return on their investment. The solution employs RFID technology, either active or passive depending on the objectives, from multiple companies; like RF Code, Impinj, Motorola and others, and the application can also incorporate additional sensor capabilities to provide visibility into environmental or other activities.

'This is the first of many solutions that are focused on providing remote visibility to either, inventory, people, activity or environmental issues for our customers' highlighted John Van Steenburgh, Managing Director. Unlike other competing products, that has built the technology into specific equipment like; refrigerators or cabinets, Queralt LLC's solution takes advantage of the existing real estate and infrastructure at the customer's location to better manage consignment inventory and invoicing. The consignment solution works on a hosted basis with both active and passive RFID technologies and is being sold on a subscription basis.

Any time the end user takes out one of their products from the consignment inventory the application captures the action and sends an alert to the vendor, which will generate an activity report to update inventory and invoice. All of this information is updated on a dashboard that is accessible via the web, enabling customers to have a view into their consignment inventory, their activity and have the information update either their CRM or ERP systems.
