Drive Through with RFID
Schreiner LogiData has developed a self-adhesive RFID windshield label for cartag’s automatic payment system. Users logging on at www.cartag.com will receive an ((rfid))-Windshield Label with a personal user number. The label offers optimum reading ranges on all commonly used windshields. As soon as a cartag customer approaches the barrier in a garage a reader acquires the RFID tag.
The barrier opens and the cartag system fully automatically bills the parking fee. The driver does not need to rummage around for the parking ticket, a credit card or small change nor runs a risk of losing Schreiner LogiData’s cartag as it securely adheres to the windshield and self-destructs in a peel-off attempt. In addition, the enhanced dynamics of parking benefit the environment—cartag users do not have to brake, stop and start again at the barrier.
