Convergence Systems Limited (CSL) announced a breakthrough in performance reliability and cost with its CS203 integrated reader and antenna.
"The CS203 is extremely cost effective and performs excellently allowing us to deliver a range of solutions at an extremely low Total Cost of Ownership to our clients. In particular we have had excellent results using the CS203 for Personnel Tracking, with the reader placed in the ceiling above doorways, combined with a Battery Assisted Passive (BAP) tag worn on a lanyard around the neck.
Read rates of 100% have been achieved for all tests to date", said Kevin Cohen CEO of Ramp RFID Solutions.
"After we launched the award winning CS101 handheld reader, we came back to many of you with a brief survey asking for what products do you want us to design next. The overwhelming majority of you said, "An all weather and affordable integrated UHF reader and antenna". We listened!" said Jerry Garrett, Man aging Director of CSL.
The CS203 product has Power over Ethernet, has a design rating of IP68 for outdoor operating environments and passed Mil Standard 810 testing.
"We received the CS203 reader and it worked out of the box seamlessly. Our engineers demonstrated the operations of the unit to us and compared to the other readers, this reader's performance was superior." said Edwin Winder, EVP Sales and Marketing of Keytone Technologies.
