Robust IDentity 5200 enhances flexibility of installation
Sirit Inc., a global provider of RFID technology today introduces the latest addition to its IDentity series of high performance, fixed position, UHF RFID readers, the IDentity 5200 (“ID5200”).
The new ID5200 is a ruggedized, multi-protocol RFID reader, providing increased flexibility in configuration options for the user. Designed for various automatic vehicle identification applications, including electronic tolling, traffic management and electronic vehicle registration, it provides similar performance to Sirit’s leading ID5100 reader with the added capability of being deployed across various points and positions throughout a road infrastructure.
The reader can accommodate two lanes simultaneously while providing for multi-protocol operations. The new reader is available for order now with delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009.
