XIO Strategies, Inc., a supply chain management firm specializing in improving asset visibility through the use of technology, today announced that it is one of the companies that has been awarded part of a five-year, $15 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). As a part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DESC’s mission is to provide the Department of Defense and other government agencies with comprehensive energy solutions in the most effective and economical manner possible.
Under the contract, XIO will support DESC in improving effectiveness and efficiency of managing the supply of Bulk Petroleum in both wartime and peacetime.
