WaveMark recently announced its clinical inventory management solution, WaveMark CIMS, has been awarded a contract by Phoenix Health Care Management Services/VHA Georgia as a solution for its member hospitals and hospital networks to manage high value, specialty inventory to improve patient care, clinical workflow and financial outcomes.
"Strong relationships like this are integral to hospitals getting access to the best solutions to improve patient safety and financial performance. WaveMark is honored to be chosen by Phoenix Health Care Management Services/VHA Georgia and is proud that our solution meets their rigorous requirements. One of WaveMark's founding principles is to make technology solutions accessible to all providers. A contract with Phoenix Health Care Management Services/VHA Georgia will enable its member hospitals to benefit from leading edge technology that improves patient safety, streamlines clinical workflow and maximizes cost containment," said Patrick Littlefield, founder of WaveMark.
Already successfully deployed in hospital specialty departments across the country, WaveMark CIMS helps hospitals achieve optimized inventory levels, better management of product expirations and recalls, and improved charge capture. WaveMark CIMS uses RFID cabinets and Point of Service readers to collect information that enables real-time inventory management. The use of RFID in the process ensures accuracy and timeliness of information captured and the streamlined workflow enables clinicians to spend more time on patient care and less time manually tracking inventory and product usage.
