CAEN RFID, a European supplier of UHF RFID products, announces today the availability of a new product of the easy2log© family: the RT0005 Temperature Logger.

The easy2log© Temperature Logger (Mod. RT0005) is a low cost, semi-passive UHF tag that allows to monitor temperature sensitive products during transportation and/or storage. Being compatible with the EPC Class1 Gen2/ISO18000-6C standard, the easy2log© RT0005 can be used with most of the Gen2 UHF RFID readers available on the market without requiring any additional equipment.

The easy2log© temperature logger is recommended for recording temperatures during transportation and/or storage of temperature-sensitive goods such as bio-pharmaceutical products, fresh food, frozen food, chemical products and so on. Easy2log© temperature logger technology was chosen for example by DHL, the global market leader of the international express and logistics industry, for the implementation of their Smart Sensor Temperature service for temperature controlled shipments.
