IBSS Joins ZES Channel Partner Program, Certifies Hardware for Use with Its Software Products
Zebra Enterprise Solutions (ZES), a division of Zebra Technologies, announced the addition of Integrated Business Systems and Services, Inc. (IBSS) to its channel partner program. The relationship allows IBSS to certify and incorporate ZES hardware into its software solutions for customers in the healthcare industry.
IBSS, a leading developer of web-based on-line transaction processing tools and vertical application software products, joined the ZES channel partner program after utilizing ultra-wide band (UWB) technology from Multispectral Solutions, which has since been acquired by Zebra. IBSS is now incorporating active radio frequency identification (RFID) from ZES into its healthcare industry solutions and evaluating uses for ZES technologies in other industries it serves.
"Our solutions capture data about our customers' processes and provide it back to them in a way that enables them to make more intelligent business decisions," said Dr. George Mendenhall, chief executive officer of IBSS. "Partnering with ZES allows us to continue delivering this critical data to our customers in a smooth and cost-effective manner. In fact, based on our evaluation of best practices, ZES' active RFID tags are now often our first recommendation for new customers that have Cisco wireless networking products installed."
IBSS has already implemented a solution using ZES' active RFID tags to track critical care equipment at Greenville Hospital Systems, a 900 bed, 32 operation room facility. Moving forward, IBSS is now looking to integrate additional ZES technologies into future projects.
