Trimble and BlueStar, a leading innovator in distribution solutions for auto ID, point-of-sale, mobility, RFID and security products, announced that BlueStar will be distributing Trimble's rugged mobile computing solutions in its global markets. BlueStar will help fulfill business to Trimble's existing resellers, as well as provide new channels with an initial focus on Trimble's Yuma rugged tablet and Ranger rugged handheld computers.
Through BlueStar's extensive channel of global resellers, Trimble broadens its reach into several key markets including field service, inspections, route accounting, direct store delivery and the supply chain. Additionally, BlueStar's innovative "solutions-based" distribution model allows North American, Latin American and European resellers to leverage unique marketing tools to expand their sales of Trimble products.

Trimble's line of ruggedized handheld and tablet computers broadens BlueStar's solutions portfolio and enables markets outside its traditional core spaces. BlueStar's current core markets include retail, hospitality, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing and other verticals where barcode, mobility, RFID and point-of-sale solutions are required. Trimble's line of ruggedized handheld and tablet computers enhances BlueStar's solutions portfolio, creating a more comprehensive offering to effectively address the expanding mobility markets, specifically for ruggedized outdoor applications.
