To better promote stronger networking within exceet Group, AuthentiDate International AG will from now on operate under the new name exceet Secure Solutions AG. AuthentiDate has already been a member enterprise of the internationally operating exceet Group SE since 2011. exceet is a technology corporation specializing in the development and manufacture of intelligent, complex and secure electronics.
Among other products, the company portfolio includes miniaturized electronics, sensor technology, circuit boards, medical implants, smartcards such as Germany’s electronic health card, as well as cryptographic components including the associated hardware for secure authentication and identification using any type of device.
The name change is intended to integrate AuthentiDate still further into exceet Group. Within the Group, exceet Secure Solutions will assume a major role as a Competence Center for Telematics, PKI, M2M and Security Solutions.
In this context, the main focus of exceet Secure Solutions will be on electronics networking in the new business field M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things), including secure identification and access solutions as well as improved networking within organizations, e.g. via process optimization in the field of telematics.
In the course of this process and in association with the name change, exceet Secure Solutions will be reorganized into three business segments M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and IoT (Internet-of-Things), Multi ID- and Access Solutions, and IT security. Due to the broad expertise gained from a wide range of customer projects, a further focus of exceet Secure Solutions will remain on the field of eHealth solutions.
The enterprise has already successfully implemented a large number of projects in the e-Health sector and has acted as supplier to more than half of all German health insurance companies as well as their service providers, hospitals and university clinics. It also participated strongly in the development of the telematics infrastructure required for the rollout of the eGK, Germany‘s electronic health card. In addition, exceet Secure Solutions maintains a large number of long-term customer relationships with international industry corporations and service providers in the field of IT security software, services and consulting.
“As exceet Secure Solutions we are the ideal partner for supporting our customers along the entire value chain,” says Christian Methe, CEO of exceet Secure Solutions, “for example, from complex telematics infrastructures to PKI solutions and on to the introduction of new business models – all a product of our M2M expertise. Our services are particularly profitable for customers who mandate us as general contractor with blanket responsibility for the entire solution. Especially where our clients are faced with constantly growing requirements, we can step in to relieve them of the complexity and responsibility of creating and managing an efficient and successfully implemented end-to-end solution.”
