Identiv’s uTrust solutions use industry and international standards, allowing people to gain access to buildings, networks, information, systems, and services, while ensuring that the physical facilities and digital assets of the organizations they interact with are protected. Identiv’s solutions are implemented using standards-driven technology, such as digital certificates, trusted authentication, mobility, and cloud services.
“By working with Identiv, OEMs can quickly and cost effectively replace outdated and insecure security systems with trusted, high-security access control solutions, and help customers move to converged access solutions,” said Jason Hart, Identiv CEO. “The foundation of Identiv’s trust solutions is a single universal identity credential that can be used to trust or securely access any resource — premises, information, or even everyday items — and is issued from our cloud-based Identiv Trust Services (ITS). Our OEM partners are able to gain the benefits of these systems by embedding them into their own solutions and selling to their respective markets.”
The uTrust Technology Partnership Program’s first member is Viscount Systems, a leading provider of IT-based access control software applications. Viscount’s Freedom access control platform is an IT-centric solution that eliminates the need for traditional access control panels. Its secure platform encrypts critical data to eliminate the opportunity for cyber threats and ensure a high level of security.
“We are very excited about kicking off our partnership with Identiv to bring more innovative IP-based identity solutions to market,” said Michael Pilato, VP of Sales and Marketing at Viscount. “We share a common vision about a trusted access control architecture. With technologies such as Identiv’s diverse portfolio of trust solutions combined with our Freedom solution, we’re able to better serve our customers with industry-leading security systems that bring trust to premises and information.”
