Tieto and Confidex, a supplier of RFID tag solutions, have signed a cooperation agreement to develop and supply advanced RFID solutions for demanding industrial applications. The solutions will be based on Tieto’s Sustainability Intelligence Cloud Service and Confidex’ industrial RFID solutions.

Sustainability Intelligence is a cloud based turnkey service for implementing RFID in multi-stakeholder value chain. The service gathers data according to globally agreed standards and provides state-of-the-art analytics, which are available both as readymade and customized packages.

Combination of UK technical experience with Swiss engineering will offer customers the broad range of innovative products

From 1st June 2011, the two separate UK business units of Intellident Ltd and Bibliotheca Ltd, together with Intellident’s French subsidiary (Ident SAS), will combine into a single company (Intellident Ltd). Backed financially by One Equity Partners (OEP), a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co, this new company becomes part of the Bibliotheca Group (Cham, Switzerland), including the recently merged Bibliotheca ITG in North America.
