Axicon Services Ltd now distributes Favite EPC Gen 2 Tags and Readers. The new range provides a host of new supply chain benefits for Axicon’s customers including increased visibility, reduction in response times, inventory and shrinkage. Favite tags and readers operate by applying radio frequency tags to products in the supply chain, providing remote and wireless tracking. The products function using globally recognized EPC Gen 2 standard technology, so the RFID tags have widespread compatibility with existing trading partners and systems.

Identive Group, Inc., a provider of products, services and solutions for the security, identification and RFID industries, today announced the signing of a Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with NXP Semiconductors, under which the companies will work together to identify and address emerging opportunities in the secure identification market by promoting and selling Identive’s identification products, based on NXP’s RFID semiconductor technology. The agreement is for an initial three-year term and is then renewable on an annual basis.
