With BL ident  TURCK is offering a comprehensive RFID solution for industrial applications in manufacturing and process automation. Application-optimized advancements in read/write heads and data carriers open up new application fields – from automotive and food production, to quality control, all the way to intralogistics.

Whilst BL ident  was previously used mainly for production control, the large sensing ranges of the new UHF read/write heads and the capability for bulk reading now also allow efficient operation in distribution, logistics and the entire supply chain management.

TURCK's BL ident complete RFID package allows the anti-interference capability of HF frequencies and the long-range capability of UHF frequencies to be used in parallel operation. The RFID system consists of application-optimized data carriers, several different read/write heads, interface modules, connection cables and CoDeSys programmable fieldbus gateways. Regardless of their frequency, all read/write heads can be incorporated into automation networks via a single BL ident station and run in parallel operation. The range of data carriers on offer is being continuously further developed, like the portfolio of read/write heads. As well as 210°C high temperature tags, the range thus includes data carriers that can be fitted directly onto metal, screw-in data carriers that can even withstand the heat and humidity in autoclaves, and data carriers with ATEX approval for explosion hazardous areas. New sensor tags not only store RFID data but are provided with an integrated sensor function.
