Company’s VertX® Networked Access Control Solution and Its Contactless Smart Cards and Readers Provide Centralized, Multi-layered Security at Nanchang Changbei International Airport

HID Global announced that Nanchang Changbei International Airport has selected the company’s networked access control solution, contactless smart cards, and readers for its new terminal to enhance overall security. The new system delivers real-time monitoring and data management capabilities, while enabling role-based access control settings to manage staff access at key entry points and restricted areas in the airport.

One Card for All: Secure ID credential enables physical and cyber access as well as payment, time and attendance

Multicard, a supplier of credential solutions, identity management and system integration services and a business unit of Identive Group, Inc. today announced that it is providing a worldwide multi-function identity credential service for Henkel, a global consumer products company. Multicard’s platform will enable a single ID credential in the form of a contactless smart card to be used for physical access to buildings, time and attendance tracking, cashless payments in the cafeteria, as well as PKI (public key infrastructure) applications to access the company’s computer network. Multicard is providing ongoing project management services for the program, as well as ID card issuance.
