With the “Pause game” function (under My Games and Applications), you can end the game that is running in the background to free up bandwidth and thus achieve the best possible download speed. Note, however, that thanks to the “Quick Resume” feature, you can pick up your game where you left off. So practice!
The update also brings news to the Achievements page through the Xbox mobile apps for iOS and Android. The players can actually find the successes of their games directly in the application. “Everyone will be able to take advantage of these updates in the app before the end of the month, and we’ll continue to refine the experience over time,” says Microsoft.
Microsoft would like to continue promoting its Game Pass offer through friends of gamers. In fact, it now has its own section when your friends play a title from the Xbox Game Pass catalog. You can then join an open multiplayer session straight away or start installing the titles your friends play (assuming you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, of course).
This is good news for gamers, even if for many of them the main concern is still getting their hands on an Xbox Series X …
