That the wait is long for fans of the Stranger Things saga. Recall that over a year ago we discovered the teaser for the fourth season of the Netflix series. Then what about an imminent exit or almost to be expected, at least in the following months? However, it’s already April 2021 and the theme doesn’t seem to evolve for Hawkins City adventures. If we know that filming could resume many months ago, the Covid-19 pandemic will have a lasting impact on the series’ schedule. An actor comes back to confirm this.
Stranger things, see you in 2022
It is Finn Wolfhard, Mike Wheeler’s on-screen interpreter, speaking on the subject on the occasion of a live video shared on Twitter. The young actor reveals that the next season of Stranger Things shouldn’t go online on Netflix until next year, 2022. Bad news for those who hoped these new episodes would hit our screens by the end of the year, why not on the occasion of Halloween, as has been the case in the past.

It has to be said that if in normal times the series already requires a lot of post-production in terms of special effects, a priori the filming has not yet been completed. At least this was announced by Gaten Matarazzo at the end of March. Worse still, no end date for filming has been announced.
