Between Xbox and Electronic Arts, it begins to become a great and beautiful love story. Last summer, the two companies announced their partnership to offer the EA Play service in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offering for consoles. An offer that will soon be extended to the PC.
In March, several Electronic Arts games included Game Pass for PC and consoles. This week, Microsoft confirmed that 13 EA games now have the FPS Boost option for Xbox Series X and Series S.
Action, gardening and parkour!
FPS Boost is a new technology enabled by the power of Microsoft’s next generation consoles to increase the number of frames per second on older Xbox games. This technology is based directly on the console, so developers don’t have to upload a patch. Games with 30 FPS can therefore offer 60 FPS and even 120 FPS.
Compatible with 120 frames per second:
Battlefield 1 Battlefield 4 Battlefield 5 Mirror Edge Catalyst Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Star Wars Battlefront II Star Wars Battlefront Titanfall Titanfall 2 Riddle 2
60 frames per second compatible:
You can now take advantage of this improvement for Xbox Series X and Series S. In addition, all games are available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Other Xbox games are already compatible with “FPS Boost”
Since the launch of the new consoles last November, ten games have benefited from this FPS Boost improvement. With the 13 EA games, Microsoft offers a total of 23 games that have been naturally expanded with the power of the Xbox Series X / S.
