You should be able to flex your iPhone (without damaging it) by 2023

While Samsung should use the summer to formalize a new tandem of smartphones with foldable screens with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, today Apple is at the center of various rumors. According to the often well-informed Ming-Chi Kuo, the foldable screen iPhone should be launched in the course of 2023.

The foldable iPhone for 2023?

A few months ago it was MacRumors who mentioned this future iPhone. According to this source, Apple could launch a product with a 7.3- to 7.6-inch foldable OLED display. This screen would also support a pen. But it wouldn’t come out until 2023. A date recently “confirmed” by Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to the analyst, Apple could even use an 8-inch touchscreen for this future iPhone. The American giant plans to sell between 15 and 20 million units of this new-generation iPhone before the end of 2023. The flexible QHD + OLED panel is provided by Apple’s best enemy: Samsung.

Obviously, these are simple rumors and so there is no need to offer this future iPhone, which shouldn’t point to the top of its foldable screen for at least two years. Remember that in addition to Samsung and Motorola, other manufacturers should also offer a foldable smartphone by then, including Vivo, Xiaomi or Oppo.

According to a recent study, half of 2,000 Americans interested in high tech are willing to buy a smartphone with a foldable screen. Among them 47% of the iPhone owners … The foldable smartphone market could therefore actually represent the future of the iPhone range. Judgment by 2023.
