It had been a long time since we heard about the Stranger Things series. Netflix’s original creation actually proposed a first teaser of its fourth season in February 2020. We learned in passing that Jim Hopper was not dead, but in a very unfortunate position in a Soviet labor camp.
More than a year later, at the origin of this fiction, the Duffer brothers fondly remember us in a new trailer whose secret they have. As always, they show very little, but enough to water our mouths. In this excerpt, we delve into Eleven’s past when she met a prisoner from Dr. Martin Brenner was at the Hawkins National Laboratory.
No broadcast before 2022?
This minute sets the series in an extremely disturbing tone. An atmosphere that we sometimes find in Stranger Things, even if the fiction also brings more lightness and humor, which makes it a general public and family program.
Filming of season 4 has been significantly delayed due to the pandemic. In any case, Netflix still seems to have relied heavily on the series, which is one of the first creations to reach a global audience. Recently, Ross Duffer told the Hollywood Reporter:
The fourth season won’t be the end. We know what the end is and we know when it will come. The pandemic has given us time to look into the future and figure out what is best for the show. When we start to think about all of this, we will have a better idea of how much time it will take us to tell this story.
Either way, it will take a lot of patience to see the rest. Finn Wolfhard, Mike Wheeler’s on-screen interpreter, recently spoke about it. The young actor has indicated that the fourth season of Stranger Things will not air until 2022.
