While we thought we’d discover the AirPods 3 during Apple’s last keynote, new rumors have just surfaced. Luke Miani, a Youtuber who is particularly well versed in the activities of the Cupertino company, says that Apple will introduce its AirPods 3 and Apple Music Hi-Fi via a press release. The latter shouldn’t be long in coming, as Luke Miani has announced a date: May 18, 2021.
Also note that May 18 is the date chosen by Mountain View to start their annual event: Google I / O 2021. If Apple finally decides to showcase its AirPods 3 on May 18, it could the show despite all the possibilities largely stolen from Google by important announcements like the Pixel 5a, Android 12 and other banned stadiums.
An imminent arrival
So far nothing has been confirmed. We know that the AirPods 3 should have a similar design to the AirPods Pro, but without the in-ear look and active noise cancellation. However, the AirPods 3 are expected to offer improved sound quality and good water resistance.
What about Apple Hi-Fi? In response to Tidal, Spotify Hi-Fi, Qobuz, or even Amazon Music HD, Cupertino wants to bring high-end audio quality to its users. Apple Hi-Fi should therefore arrive very quickly, and rumors agree that a launch with the AirPods 3 is very likely. Apple has already mentioned this new quality of sound and has stated that it will allow you to enjoy an audio file with no quality loss and no compression.
The press release should reach us in the afternoon, we are looking for information. Our colleagues at iPhon.fr may be even livelier. If you want to be the first to find out about it, don’t hesitate to take a look at iPhon.fr.
