The film adaptations of the Resident Evil saga are heartbreaking for some fans. However, we can see that the franchise is an ATM that encourages us to keep producing more in this universe.
Netflix doesn’t want to be outdone and has been teasing its animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness for some time. The streaming platform has just announced its fiction will air on July 8th. By the way, an official trailer has also been proposed to find out more about what to expect.
Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield will be in the game
The first thing to know is that the series takes place after the events of Resident Evil 4, which should bring back some fond memories for fans. We will find the heroes Leon S. Kennedy
and Claire Redfield. Incidentally, Capcom has published a lot of information in a summary:
Six years ago (2000) the helicopter of the US special forces that intervened in the Penamstan Civil War fell from the sky. The U.S. Army’s Mad Dogs, who were on the same battlefield, refused the command center’s order to stay there and went to rescue the survivors of the crash. However, the special forces have already been wiped out. The Mad Dogs, led by their captain Jason, also had to flee to survive. In this place, however, Jason and his unit saw the supposedly dead special forces moving in a strange way …
We’ll return to the present in 2006 when four agents, including Leon S. Kennedy and Jason, are invited to the White House to investigate a hacking incident in a top-secret President’s file. The lights go out and here you have to face a horde of zombies accompanied by a SWAT team.
We won’t say more for now, so as not to spoil the tension too much. The series definitely looks very promising and we only have to wait a few more weeks before we can discover it on Netflix.
