Not only did Lebron James send the Lakers into the play-offs last week thanks to an excellent 3-point basket at the last minute, but he also appears on his Instagram account today with a new pair … Not made of sneakers, but wireless headphones. This basketball icon actually appears to be wearing the first wireless headphones designed by Beats. Headphones have never been introduced and even less marketed.
Does Lebron James wear the Beats Studio Buds?
So far, neither Apple nor Beats have mentioned a possible presentation of this new product. While the photo quality is not optimal for perfectly differentiating the headphones worn by the player, it appears to be in perfect accordance with the latest image leaks as well as filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Also note that Lebron James is used to working with Beats, and even before Apple’s takeover. In 2008, Dr. Dre, the founder of Beats (formerly Beats by Dre), the entire US basketball team, was $ 350 worth of headphones for the Olympics. On other occasions, the rap legend and the great basketball champion have been invited to collaborate.
In the early 2010s, this marketing coup enabled Dr. Dre to remove its brand at an impressive rate until it was bought by Apple for $ 3 billion in 2014. To date, it is the Cupertino company’s largest acquisition. All you have to do is watch the rest of the team in the next game to see if they are wearing all of those brand new headphones.
Aside from the numerous rumors about the Beats Studio Buds, we don’t need to date verified information on a release date or even a price.
