Since last week it has been possible to generate your vaccination card in the form of a QR code on the health insurance company’s website. All you have to do is go to Ameli and follow the fairly intuitive instructions to access the area that will allow you to download not 1 but 2 QR codes.
How do I add your vaccination card to TousAntiCovid?
All you have to do is scan the two QR codes with your smartphone and they will be integrated into the application immediately. Ameli, the digital health insurance platform, points out that it is important not to give QR codes to third parties.
There are serious risks of forgery, theft, or worse, hackers could steal your personal information.
A QR code, not to be confused with that of the digital memory book
As of next June 9th, we will enter the third phase of the deconfining plan. On this occasion, we are given new freedoms, but also new possibilities for prevention. Like last autumn, the memory book is making a comeback.
This time it will be digital, everything will be done through the TousAntiCovid application. In “closed places where strict compliance with barrier measures (especially wearing a mask) can prove difficult, if not impossible”, a QR code is attached at the entrance to the facility.
Everyone must scan this QR code before entering the facility. After scanning this QR code, the application will assume that you have been in the bar or restaurant for 2 hours. If someone present in the facility declares that they are infected with Covid-19, you will receive an orange or red notification. To learn everything about the reminder log and what these notifications mean, we have provided a detailed article.
The QR code of the memory book has nothing to do with that of the vaccination card, which is attached to the health card.
