For more than a year and a half, rumors have been circulating about the famous Nintendo Switch Pro that would allow you to play in 4K with a much more powerful screen. After the Switch Lite was released in September 2019, developing a more powerful model is no longer in doubt.
In the past few days, major media outlets have started to confirm the rumors by stating that this new console could even be unveiled before E3 2021 (which will take place June 12-15). A “Switch Pro” sheet was put online for a few minutes on the Amazon site in Mexico. The announcement seems imminent!
The Switch Pro is coming!
If the video game news is your thing, you must have heard of the Switch Pro. A new version of the Nintendo console that aims to end the machine’s life cycle in style with a more powerful model that allows gaming in 4K. Since 2019, many insiders have been talking about this machine, which should show the tip of its nose in 2020 before it was planned for the end of 2021.
Now it is the big media who talk to journalists about it, who are often well informed. Accordingly, the Switch Pro should be presented at any time. Nintendo would go for a surprising strategy of showing off its machine before E3 so that third-party vendors could show their first Switch Pro games during upcoming events (like Summer Game Fest and E3).
Nintendo has a habit of ending the conference ball at E3. The Japanese company often goes last. So the decision to announce the Switch Pro before the show would be logical so that publishers can air the trailers of their first games on this new machine.
On the Amazon side, it seems that the pre-orders are close. According to a user who had time to take a screenshot, the Switch Pro sheet is currently in preparation.

There is currently no information about the price or the release date. According to some media outlets, the console could hit the market at $ 299.99 by the end of the year. This would allow Nintendo to lower the price of the standard Switch. In 2019, the Switch Lite was announced in July for a September release.
In any case, Nintendo will meet the fans in June for a very funny and, above all, very interesting E3. We can’t wait to be there. Not you ?
