Based on the positive results in two stores, Moods of Norway decided to roll out Nedap’s RFID solution for fast stock taking in 14 of their brand stores. In the two test stores, the expanding Scandinavian fashion brand, known for its colorful, high-quality designs, quickly improved the in-store stock accuracy to over 98% using RFID.

Inditex deploys RFID Technology in its StoresDuring the Annual General Meeting, held on 15 July 2014, Inditex's Chairman and CEO unveiled the RFID implementation project. RFID allows individual tracking of garments, from the logistics platforms until their ultimate sale.

The garment's unique ID is recorded on a chip inside the security alarm, which makes distribution more efficient and in-store garment management more accurate, improving overall customer service standards.

Nedap supplies the RFID Point-of-Sale (POS) and the hand-held readers for this, along with the associated iOS app. For automatic processing of inventory transactions, Nedap's RFID solution is linked to Softwear's ERP and cash register system.
