tagItron Introduces Elastic Rubber Tag For The Integration Into Or The Application On Rubber Products

tagItron, a manufacturer and provider of special RFID transponders and RFID components introduces its new product line: vulcanisable rubber tags.
Themed „tag it easy“ tagItron presents its new portfolio of HF and UHF rubber tags for vulcanization in rubber hose, -tires, -gaskets, -membranes, -conveyor belts or applications where tags will be mounted by a special glue on a rubber surface.

Due to its material (specialised rubber mix) the highly flexible rubber tags can be integrated into bendable materials like rubber hose or rubber mats without changing the material’s properties. The material is flexible, bendable and becomes almost one with the product due to a physical effect.

Advantages:
The ultra-thin built of the transponder (1,4 mm) can be reduced to only 0,5 mm after vulcanization. That makes the rubber tag almost invisible when in use. With its dimensions of 65 mm x 25 mm and a reading range of 6 meters the rubber tag can easily compete with its bigger brothers.  

The material properties are also worth mentioning: high pressure and temperature resistance, its extreme flexibility, long life as well as printable surface. There will be different print solutions in one or multiple color printing available.

„Including the transponder during the manufacturing process of a product is the most cost-effective way to trace goods”, explained Jan Wendisch, managing director of tagItron GmbH. „Using this UHF rubber tag we might have the smallest and most cost effective transponder with great reading performances for the direct mounting into or on rubber products“, said Wendisch.

tagItron's closed-loop in-house supply chain - ranging from the development and production to evaluation processes and pilots - in the company's own Application and Competence Centre allows the customized or application-based development of new solutions.

tagItron sees itself as one of the few providers on the RFID market that can actually offer a complete product portfolio of RFID hardware and transponders coming from the company's own production. In addition tagItron, together with selected partners, provides customers with the installation of its products ensuring "all-in-one solutions".

All products, new and old, will be showcased at the Transport & Logistics in Munich, Germany. Visitors will find tagItron during the 4th and 7th of June in hall B2, booth 33V.
